Yamanashi

En route pour Yamanashi ! Il faut environ 2h de train pour rejoindre cette ville en dehors de la préfecture de Tôkyô. Et le paysage sur le chemin est sympa ! Même si, comme vous allez le constater, la météo n'a ensuite pas été de notre côté ... :)

We're heading to Yamanashi ! It takes around 2 hours to reach that city which is outside of the Tôkyô prefecture. The landscape on the way is quite nice ! Even if, as you will see, the weather was not on our side ... :)

En arrivant, nous avons mangé ! Et j'ai pu gouter la spécialité locale : Hôtô - Des nouilles très spéciales, à cuire soi même, accompagnées de légumes, champignons, etc. Et c'est bien bon !

We ate right after jumping out of the train ! And I could tast the local speciality : Hôto - very special noodles, that you cook yourself, with vegetables, mushrooms, etc. And it's damn good !

Nous sommes ensuite montés au village de Kôfu (Je ne suis pas certain du nom). Il y a là bas quelques attractions touristiques, la principale étant le temple en haut de la montagne, accessible par un téléphérique (et surement à pied par beau temps).

We then went up to a village named Kôfu (I'm not sure). There are a handful of touristic things to check there, the main one being a temple on the top of the mountain. You can go up with a cable car (and on foot when the weather is good).

J'adore la musique :) Je pense qu'on a été les seuls passagers de la journée, l'ambiance était donc assez décontractée :D

The music is great :) I think we were the only passengers of the day, so the atmosphere was quite friendly :D

Puis, visite du musée (gratuit) du cristal, contenant de nombreuses pièces extrêmement raffinées, d'autres exemples de pierres précieuses naturelles. Et bon la dernière partie est plus une grosse boutique qu'autre chose ... Mais c'était joli :)

Then we visited the Cristal Museum (which was free), where we could see a lot of very fine works, and other more natural stones. The last part of the place was more like a big shop ... But everything was shiny and pretty :)

Puis, retour en ville. La météo est passé de "supportable" à "catastrophique" mais on n'est pas morts :)

When we got back to town, it started do get dark and the weather moved from "manageable" to "catastrophic", but we survived :)

Le clou de cette excursion était la reconstitution du "déploiement du bataillon Koshu" après que 24 généraux aient signé allégeance à Takeda Shingen au milieu du 16e siècle. Malgré la pluie, tout ce petit monde en armure a bien défilé !

The main attraction of our little excursion was the reconstitution of the military parade of the "Koshu Batallion deployment" after 24 generals begged allegeance to Takeda Shingen in the 16th century. Even with the heavy rain, the even took place !

 

 

Et voilà ! Nous avons ensuite marché sous la pluie pour trouver quelque chose à manger, puis nous avons encore marché pour trouver un ENDROIT où manger. J'ai fait pipi à côté d'un samourai aux troilettes, c'était marrant. Ça nous a permis de visiter les restes de la forteresse de Takeda Shingen. Finalement, nous nous sommes assis autour d'un burger, puis d'un chocolat chaud avant de reprendre le train :)

That's it ! We then walked under the rain to fin something to eat, then walked again to find a PLACE where to eat. I had a pee next to a samurai, it was quite fun. We then could visit a little bit of what's left of Takeda Shingen's fortress. Finally, we went and had a burger and a hot chocolate before taking the train back :)
